Privacy Policy

Summary: Sajdah does not require accounts and does not store your app data on our servers. If you enable iCloud, your data may sync via Apple iCloud/CloudKit. We use TelemetryDeck for basic anonymous analytics.

1. Who we are

Sajdah is provided by Burak Akyalçın operating as Pebble Works Co. (“we”, “us”, “our”).

2. Data we collect

We do not require an account and we do not collect personal data such as your name, email, or precise location to operate the app.

• App content & activity data: We do not store your prayer logs, streaks, stats, or settings on our servers.
• User-entered text: Sajdah does not provide a feature for public user-generated content (e.g., posts/comments).

The app may store data locally on your device for functionality. If you enable iCloud, that local data may sync using Apple services (see below).

3. iCloud / CloudKit

Sajdah supports optional sync via Apple iCloud / CloudKit. If enabled on your device, Apple may sync your app data across your Apple devices.

• Optional: iCloud sync is controlled by you via iOS / Apple ID iCloud settings.
• Apple as a service provider: iCloud/CloudKit is operated by Apple. We do not control Apple’s infrastructure.
• No Sajdah servers: We do not run our own backend to store your app data.

4. Analytics (TelemetryDeck)

We use TelemetryDeck to collect basic anonymous analytics to understand how the app is used and to improve it.

• Examples: app version, device type, coarse usage events (e.g., screen opens), and aggregated metrics.
• We do not use TelemetryDeck to track you across apps or build advertising profiles.

TelemetryDeck’s processing may be governed by their own policies. We configure analytics to be minimal and anonymous.

5. Location

Sajdah does not request GPS/location permission and does not collect precise device location. Any location-related settings (e.g., city/coordinates) are provided by you and used on-device for app functionality.

6. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information.

• Service providers: We share limited anonymous analytics with TelemetryDeck as described above.
• Apple: If you enable iCloud, Apple processes synced app data as part of iCloud/CloudKit.
• Legal: We may disclose information if required by law. (In practice, we hold very little data.)

7. Data retention

• On our side: We do not retain your app data because we do not store it on our servers.
• Analytics: Anonymous analytics retention depends on TelemetryDeck and our configuration.
• iCloud: iCloud-synced data retention is controlled by Apple and your iCloud settings.

8. Your choices & rights

• Analytics: You may limit analytics by using iOS privacy controls where applicable.
• iCloud sync: You can disable iCloud for Sajdah in iOS settings.
• Delete app data: Removing the app typically removes local data on your device. iCloud data may persist until removed via iCloud settings (Apple-controlled).

9. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the Service. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Because we do not store your app data on our servers, most of your data remains on-device and/or in Apple iCloud if enabled.

10. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date on this page.
